What does the Bible say about being Thankful?

Thanksgiving is a day to be with family and friends, and
share a meal.

But what does the Bible say?
All through the Bible, we see examples of how the role of
thankfulness has on a Christians life.

Here are some Bible Verses about Thankfulness:

Psalm 95:2-3:
Let us come before His presence with Thanksgiving, and make a
joyful noise unto him with Psalms. For the Lord is a great God,
and a great King above.

Psalm 136:1: O give thanks unto the Lord; for He is good; His mercy
endureth forever. O give thanks unto the God of gods; for His mercy
endureth forever.

Philippians 4:6-7: Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer
and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to
God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will
guard your
hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Colossians 2:6-7:

As you therefore have received Christ Jesus
the Lord
so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in
the faith, as you have been taught, abounding
in it with thanksgiving.

Thessalonians 5:16-18: Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In
every
thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus
concerning you.

 God Bless!

Jesus is coming soon Are YOU ready? Are YOU Heaven or Hell Bound?

God created the earth and everything in it.
Sin fell upon the earth, when Adam and Eve
sinned in the Garden of Eden. Eve was tempted by
Satan and ate from the tree of life, that God forbid them to
eat from, and Adam went along with it.

As time went on and the earth was populated sin got worse.
The Ten Commandments was put in place for people to abide by.

  1. You shall have no other gods before Me.
  2. You shall not make idols.
  3. You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain.
  4. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
  5. Honor your father and your mother.
  6. You shall not murder.
  7. You shall not commit adultery.
  8. You shall not steal.
  9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
  10. You shall not covet.

How many of these have you broken?

God sent his only Son Jesus to be born of a virgin Mary.
Mary married Joseph. They raised Jesus, and when he
got older he went out into the world to teach the gospel,
and had 12 disciples and many followers he taught along
the way, to help go out and spread the word.

Jesus sacrificed himself for our sins, He died upon the cross
for us, he died for us to pay a debt we couldn't pay.
He paid our debt in full. We were guilty
    but set free
(our debt is paid) if we repent and
    believe that he died
on the cross for our sins and rose on the third day and is now in
heaven preparing a place for us, we shall have eternal

life, when we die, or raptured to be with him forever.

There is only one way to have eternal life and that is through
    Jesus Christ.
John 14:6 Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the
life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
John 3:5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one
can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water
    and the Spirit."

**Born from your mother, then born again when we get saved.
When we truly get saved, we are a new person in Christ, we turn
from our wicked ways-we hate sin. We are not perfect by no means,
but we strive to be. We strive to be more and more like Jesus.

Are you Ready??? Really truly Ready???

Not everyone who claims to be Christian is really a Christian,
not everyone who goes to Church, will go to heaven.
Narrow is the way, only few find it, Are you among the few?
    Matthew 7:13-14
“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is
the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and
    many enter through it.
But small is the gate and narrow
the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

**This means that less will go to Heaven, than Hell.

If you are a true Believer of Jesus Christ, you will repent, believe
and truly change, and will share the good news with others.

You are known by the fruits you bare! You will no longer be
your old self, you become a new person in Christ. The Holy
Spirit lives within you and guides you.
Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace,
    patience,  kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness,
self-control; against such things there is no law.

Are you READY my friend?? YOU have a choice, God gives us
free will, I pray YOU are READY!!

Is Baptism necessary for Salvation?

Baptism is not required for Salvation, but it is an important step of
obedience as a Christian.
It illustrates a Christians identity with Christ
and living a new life. It does not save us from sin
, but it is a pledge
of good conscience towards God. It symbolizes what has occurred in
the heart and life of the ones who has trust in Christ our Savior.

1 Peter 3:21 Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you,
not as a removal of dirt from the body but as an appeal to God for
a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ

Romans 6:3-5 Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized
into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
We were therefore
buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ
was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may
live a new life
For if we have been united with him in a death like his,
we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his.

Colossians 2:12 For you were buried with Christ when you were
baptized. And with him you were raised to a new life because
you trusted the mighty power of God, who raised Christ from the dead.
