Mary, The Mother Of Jesus

"And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou
hast found favour with God. And behold, thou shalt
conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shall
call his name Jesus. He shall be great, and shall be called
the Son of the Highest." Luke 1:30-32

Mary, the mother of Jesus, is the most honored woman of
all time. She was chosen by God to be the mother to the
Messiah. An angel appeared to her and declared to her,
that her child shall be called The Son of God.

Mary being so young and startled by the wonderful news,
asked how can this be, I know not a man. The angel
answered her question and said The Holy Ghost shall
come upon thee, and the power of the Highest will
overshadow thee. Mary of great holiness and submission
to God's will, said Behold the Handmaid of the Lord;
be it unto me according to thy word.

Mary tenderly and lovingly, with her abiding faith gave birth
in a stable in Bethlehem. Her life was dedicated to the love
and service of Jesus. She was a devoted mom and was even there
suffering with grief when her Son died on the cross for all our sins.

Mary was a very humble servant of God, and was a very
honored woman for her selfless love for her Son Jesus!

Christmas is a time-to remember Jesus Christ-his love
for all of mankind-He was born to a virgin touched by God
to deliver a baby boy named Jesus-who came to teach, heal,
and forgive-He died on a cross for all our sins-that if we
believe in him-repent of our sins and turn away from our sins-
invite him in our heart and live for him-and tell others about him-
we shall be saved-and have eternal life with him-either when
we die or when he comes back for his church. You have a choice
my friend, do you choose eternal life?

If you are ready say this prayer:

I acknowledge I am a sinner, I believe in you Jesus, and I BELIEVE
you died on the cross for my sins and rose again on the third day
and you are sitting at the right hand of the throne in heaven preparing
a place for me. Please forgive all my sins and come into my heart
and life. Thank you, Jesus, Amen and Amen!

Now go out and change your ways and live for him and tell
others about him!

If you said this prayer and truly believe, then welcome to
the Family of God!

What does the Bible say about giving thanks on Thanksgiving?

Thanksgiving is a day where we gather around the table
with family and friends. But what does is actually mean?

Let's turn to our Bibles and see, in 1 Timothy 4:4-5 Since
everything God created is good, we should not reject any
of it but receive it with thanks. For we know it is made
acceptable by the word of God and prayer.

Paul explains the importance of receiving food with
thanks, through worship and gratitude. He explains
that food is a gift from God, and we should receive it
with thanks, it's not about filling our belly full of
delicious food but it's the act of thanking God,
because he is our provider and supporter in our
daily lives.

When we believe in God the Father, God the Son,
and God the Holy Spirit, we know the truth and are
able to give thanks when we receive food, this type
of gratitude is an act of worship.

So, remember as you gather around the table at
Thanksgiving let's remember the importance of
gratitude. It is not how good the food is, it's about
the thankfulness in our hearts, acknowledging
God
as our provider and supporter in life, and
that eating is a form of worship.
