What's in your heart? What does the Bible say?

Whatever is on the throne of your heart will be in your thoughts, and
become actions. Make sure it's Jesus!

Devote yourself to God- (Pray, Meditate and Study on the Word). Put
God FIRST in Everything!

Jesus should be on the throne of our hearts, our thoughts should
align with Jesus-be full of the Holy Spirit (positive, love, humbleness).
Good thoughts become good actions.

We should fill our hearts with the fruits of the Spirit!
Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness,
goodness, faithfulness,
 gentleness and self-control.

What does the bible say about your heart

Matthew 6:19-21
Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and
vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But
 store up
for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not
destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.
 For where your
treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Proverbs 3:5
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own
understanding.

Proverbs 4:23
Above all else, guard your heartfor everything you do flows from it.

Jesus should be in your heart above all else! Don't think from your own
understanding, give your whole heart to GOD, knowing he will do right
by you, what's best for you. A heart like Jesus, become thoughts like
Jesus, which become actions like Jesus. Commit your life to God, trust
in him!

What does the Bible say about drinking alcohol?

Proverbs 20:1
Wine produces mockers; alcohol leads to brawls. Those lead astray
by drink cannot be wise.

Romans 13:13-14
Because we belong to the day, we must live decent lives for all to see.
Don't participate in the darkness of wild parties and drunkenness or in
sexual promiscuity and immoral living, or quarreling or jealousy. Instead
clothe yourself with the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. And don't let
yourself think about ways to indulge your evil desires.

Galatians 5:19-21
When you follow the desires of your sinful nature the results are very
clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, idolatry, sorcery,
hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition,
dissension, division, envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like
these. Let me tell you again, as I have before anyone living that sort
of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

Titus 1:7
A church leader is a manager of God's household, so he must live a
blameless life. He must not be arrogant or quick-tempered, he must not
be a heavy drinker, violent or dishonest with money.

1 Timothy 5:23
Drink no longer water but use a little wine for thy
stomach's sake and thine often infirmities."

Ecclesiastes 5:18

acknowledges that enjoying good food, wine, and work is acceptable.

Ecclesiastes 9:7

advises eating bread with joy and drinking wine with a merry heart.

**The answer is, it's not a sin to drink, but it is a sin to get
drunk!!**

King Solomon, regularly enjoyed wine (even some that was highly
intoxicating) but not in quantities where his wisdom was affected
(Ecclesiastes 2:3, Song of Solomon 8:2)

1 Peter 5:8
Be sober-minded, be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls
around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

**We as Christians should live a righteous life. We are known
by our fruits! We should be obedient to Christ and his word.
Read the bible daily, study it, live it, and pray-up!
