Jesus is coming soon Are YOU ready? Are YOU Heaven or Hell Bound?

God created the earth and everything in it.
Sin fell upon the earth, when Adam and Eve
sinned in the Garden of Eden. Eve was tempted by
Satan and ate from the tree of life, that God forbid them to
eat from, and Adam went along with it.

As time went on and the earth was populated sin got worse.
The Ten Commandments was put in place for people to abide by.

  1. You shall have no other gods before Me.
  2. You shall not make idols.
  3. You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain.
  4. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
  5. Honor your father and your mother.
  6. You shall not murder.
  7. You shall not commit adultery.
  8. You shall not steal.
  9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
  10. You shall not covet.

How many of these have you broken?

God sent his only Son Jesus to be born of a virgin Mary.
Mary married Joseph. They raised Jesus, and when he
got older he went out into the world to teach the gospel,
and had 12 disciples and many followers he taught along
the way, to help go out and spread the word.

Jesus sacrificed himself for our sins, He died upon the cross
for us, he died for us to pay a debt we couldn't pay.
He paid our debt in full. We were guilty
    but set free
(our debt is paid) if we repent and
    believe that he died
on the cross for our sins and rose on the third day and is now in
heaven preparing a place for us, we shall have eternal

life, when we die, or raptured to be with him forever.

There is only one way to have eternal life and that is through
    Jesus Christ.
John 14:6 Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the
life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
John 3:5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one
can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water
    and the Spirit."

**Born from your mother, then born again when we get saved.
When we truly get saved, we are a new person in Christ, we turn
from our wicked ways-we hate sin. We are not perfect by no means,
but we strive to be. We strive to be more and more like Jesus.

Are you Ready??? Really truly Ready???

Not everyone who claims to be Christian is really a Christian,
not everyone who goes to Church, will go to heaven.
Narrow is the way, only few find it, Are you among the few?
    Matthew 7:13-14
“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is
the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and
    many enter through it.
But small is the gate and narrow
the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

**This means that less will go to Heaven, than Hell.

If you are a true Believer of Jesus Christ, you will repent, believe
and truly change, and will share the good news with others.

You are known by the fruits you bare! You will no longer be
your old self, you become a new person in Christ. The Holy
Spirit lives within you and guides you.
Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace,
    patience,  kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness,
self-control; against such things there is no law.

Are you READY my friend?? YOU have a choice, God gives us
free will, I pray YOU are READY!!

Is Baptism necessary for Salvation?

Baptism is not required for Salvation, but it is an important step of
obedience as a Christian.
It illustrates a Christians identity with Christ
and living a new life. It does not save us from sin
, but it is a pledge
of good conscience towards God. It symbolizes what has occurred in
the heart and life of the ones who has trust in Christ our Savior.

1 Peter 3:21 Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you,
not as a removal of dirt from the body but as an appeal to God for
a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ

Romans 6:3-5 Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized
into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
We were therefore
buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ
was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may
live a new life
For if we have been united with him in a death like his,
we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his.

Colossians 2:12 For you were buried with Christ when you were
baptized. And with him you were raised to a new life because
you trusted the mighty power of God, who raised Christ from the dead.

Anti-Aging Drinks

My number one spot goes to WATER:
Water is extremely important for our bodies to function.
It helps clean out our bodies, helps regulate blood sugar and
blood pressure, it clears our minds, lifts our moods, and keeps
our skin healthy and hydrated. It also helps fill you up and feel
less hungry. We all need at least 64 ounces a day!

My number two spot goes to SMOOTHIES:
Smoothies are quick, easy and delicious. A great way to get in protein,
fruits and veggies. I Use Vital Protein High Performance-it has protein
plus collagen. Both great for hair, skin and nails, muscles, and bones.
Add some fruit or veggies, or both for those added benefits.
Especially the green ones!

My number three spot goes to GREEN TEA:
Green Tea contain catechins, which fights signs of aging, protects
your body and skin from free radicals that can make you look
older, plus it's also brewed in water, a great way to increase your water
intake. I like the Yoga Tea, many different kinds to suit your taste!

My number four spot goes to RED WINE:
This is a great way to end the day. I use bathroom cups, that way
I am getting the benefits, without over doing it, 1 a day!
It's good for your health and skin, it has antioxidants(resveratrol)
and nutrients that help you look and feel young.

Bonus Tip: Drink The Living Water!
"But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be
thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a
spring of water welling up to eternal life.” John 4:14
**What does this verse mean? It means eternal life.
Only the water
of life will satisfy our soul.
The heart pumps life through our veins,
but Jesus offers hope for our souls.

What does the Bible say about Prayer?

Philippians 4:6 - Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything
by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made
known to God.

Mark 11:24 - Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe
that you have received it, and it will be yours.

1 Thessalonians 5:17 - Pray without ceasing.

Matthew 26:41 - Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation.
The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

Ephesians 6:18 - Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and
supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making
supplication for all the saints.

Colossians 4:2 - Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with
thanksgiving.

Luke 18:1 - And he told them a parable to the effect that they ought always
to pray and not lose heart.

Jeremiah 29:12 - Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and
I will hear you.

Matthew 6:6 - But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door
and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in
secret will
reward you.

Romans 8:26 - Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do
not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us
with groanings too deep for words.

Matthew 6:7 - And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the
Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words.

James 5:16 - Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one
another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great
power
as it is working.

2 Chronicles 7:14 - If my people who are called by my name humble
themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then
I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Matthew 21:22 - And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have
faith.

1 Timothy 2:8  - I desire then that in every place the men should pray, lifting
holy hands without anger or quarreling.

**Prayer is sufficient in our daily lives**

      **So keep praying forward**

Who are we in Christ?

1.We are Amazing
Psalm 138:14
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

2. We are Capable
Mark 10:27
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible,
but not with God; all things are possible with God.”

3. We are Chosen
1 Thessalonians 1:4
We know, dear brothers and sisters, that God loves you and has
chosen you to be his own people.

4. We are never alone
Matthew 28:20
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I commanded you:
and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.

5. We are always loved
Romans 8:38-39
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels
nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,
neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be
able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our
Lord.

6. We are Beautiful
Ecclesiastes 3:11-12
He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has
also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom
what God has done from beginning to end. I know that there
is nothing better for people than to be happy and to
do good while they live.

7. We are Victorious
Romans 8:37
But in all these troubles we have complete victory through God,
who has shown his love for us.

8. We are Enough

But the Lord said, “My grace is all you need. Only when you
are weak can everything be done completely by my power.”
So I will gladly boast about my weaknesses. Then Christ’s power
can stay in me.

9. We are Created
Genesis 1:31
God looked at everything he had made. And he saw that
everything was very good.

10. We are Strong
Philippians 4:13
I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

Are Boundaries Biblical??

Are  Boundaries Biblical?? YES!!

As Christians we need boundaries in order to have healthy
relationships. It is easy to overlook this important step. Boundaries
are an
important part of our lives and others. It is important for our
spiritual, physical, mental and emotional health.

Think of boundaries as your personal fence, that protects your
personal
space. You are at a healthy distance, but it keeps out anyone
or anything that
can cause harm, physically, mentally or emotionally. It
is a line where you end and they begin. It defines who you are, a
sense of ownership.

It allows you to be in control of your time, energy, resources and money,
when to say yes and when to say no. You decide what you will and will
not tolerate.

Sometimes people are difficult, hurtful, and hard to be around. They
suck the life right out of you, zap your energy, get you off track,
discourage
you, and damage you emotionally, and leave you feeling
awful. If you feel like this, it is time to set boundaries.

Boundaries are for us personally(this is my jurisdiction and you don't
have the right to cross it), this helps protect us from people who have
no self control.

We should pray and forgive, and hand it over to God!
Forgiveness doesn't mean we have to let them back in.
Forgiveness is given and trust is earned!

Even Jesus set boundaries!

Matthew 14:22-23(Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the
boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the
crowd. After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by
himself to pray.

Mark 1:35(Very early in the morning, while it was still
dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place,
where
he prayed)

**Jesus took care of his needs, and he prioritized his time, so should we!

What does the Bible say about Codependency!

Codependency is a choice mentally in which people use each
other to get their emotional needs met in a selfish way.

Where did codependency come from: It comes from pain we
suffered as a child, and becomes expressed in adulthood. It is
self-loathing and self-sacrificial behaviors, which brings misery
instead of joy.

Instead of unconditional love an acceptance, they use each other,
to get something for themselves.

They rely on each other for their emotional and physical needs,
instead of taking
care of themselves. Plus they lack confidence in
God to care for their needs, and manipulate others to get what they
want.

This way they both feel OK, even though, it's unhealthy.

They avoid the truth in love and have trouble recognizing their own
sinful habits, and need for repentance.

Pride, fear and boundaries are related to codependency.
(Proverbs 29:25) The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever
trusts in the Lord is safe.
Pride keeps us from seeing our self,
the way God sees us. God
loves us regardless, but he also says
we are wicked and need a
Savior. (Mark 10:18) And Jesus said to
him, 'Why do you call me
good? No one is good except God alone.
This can offend people's pride!

Codependent people are loyal, but in a toxic way, because they
support sinful and even illegal behavior. They even deny they have a
problem.

It's fear driven, because they want people to like them, this results in
people pleasing behaviors, it's about their own selfish desires.

Codependents don't feel whole, and copy others to gain a sense of
identity. This keeps them from making their own choices. It is about
control, they try to manipulate and control others, rather than focus
on themselves, an overstep peoples boundaries. We need healthy
boundaries to maintain a healthy relationship.

The Bible gives us instructions by telling us how we ought to relate to
one another. Instead of codependent it is interdependency(mutually
responsible to others while sharing responsibilities.)

Solutions:

Jesus said we are to love one another equal to ourselves, not more
than ourselves.
Codependents consider themselves of no value, and
people please, They act out of guilt and fear, and need to be needed(so
they use the other person to meet their own needs. They need each
other to be OK, so they will be OK!

Solution 1: they need to gain their self-worth through Jesus Christ, it's
not based on work, or the service you perform. Service is a choice.
Solution 2: they need to have balanced living and take care of them-
selves.
Solution 3: they need to live balanced lives, take responsibility for their
own health and well-being.
Solution 4: they need to have healthy boundaries and set limits, and
not allow others to compromise those boundaries.
Solution 5: they need to help in appropriate ways, by letting others act
independently, rather than making others dependent on them.
Solution 6: they need to learn to be God directed, knowing that God
brings the ultimate results.

Christian Counselors can help with Codependency-by encouraging
and being honest and can model healthy living. Codependency is
not biblical. The scriptures are not characterized by manipulation,
dependency, or control others, or striving for approval. Christians find
their identity in Christ, by being loved, accepted, forgiven and redeemed
by Jesus Christ.
