Never Under-Estimate The Power Of An Underdog!

The Underdog...

Life can be a challenge that we all want to meet.

The best strategy is to not be afraid of coming in second or third or even last. Pick yourself up, never give up, and keep going, because you are already a winner for putting yourself out there.

It's better to try and not succeed than not to try at all!

When you set your mind to never look back to see who's behind you, you can keep going without fear of who may pass you. Focus forward!

Just keep improving. Don't have unrealistic expectations. Your expectations are your own and yours alone. Being an underdog means that people expect you not to win. This alone can be very motivating because you'll want to prove them wrong.

Your priorities
are yours alone. Be focused on your purpose and values rather than on winning. Your priorities are revealed in what you do.

Determination is the key... As long as you don't stop working at improving, you are winning!

Most winners assume that they did everything right; their mistakes are overlooked. But as an underdog, you are underrated, overpowered, and overlooked. However, this keeps you questioning whatever you did wrong so that you can work on making it right!

Everyone loves the underdog because underdogs have the mindset to keep on going, keep on improving, and have the determination to overcome the odds.

No one knows who you are. But it's a challenge (being an underdog). And if you love a challenge, you can beat the odds.

When you don't fear losing, that is a competitive advantage you have over anyone. Put your trust in God and show no fear... just like David did against the giant Goliath!

Being an underdog can sometimes be the advantage! Have faith and show no fear! Keep trying. Keep going! One day, you'll come out on top!

Skin Care For Spring

Spring is finally here... Winter has left the building!

With that being said, our skin holds more water in the spring and summer. So we don't need as much moisturizer; we can go lighter.

But we do need an SPF of at least 30+ and aloe for after-sun care! And don't forget your lips and sun hat to protect your face...

Exfoliating is a great way to get rid of dead skin cells, so our skin can breathe and our pores can unlock. You don't need anything harsh. A small amount of glycolic acid will do the trick.

Spring clean your products. Throw out anything over 6 months old. Old products can host bacteria, which will make your skin dull and will clog pores. Makeup brushes should be washed once a week and dried with a hair dryer.

Simple Rules: Go lighter with your moisturizer and makeup, and use fresh products and clean items; SPF 30+ (I would suggest OIL OF OLAY) for daily routine, and aloe (organic pure aloe) after being outside!

Facial mists are a great way to cool down, instead of wiping or rubbing skin — to keep skin clear and bacteria-free.

Also: Don't forget your fruits and veggies! They are good for the skin!

Last, but not least — WATER for hydration!

Happy Spring!!

The Worry Box

If you are the type to worry, make a worry box!

Write down everything that is bothering you that day! Before you go to bed take them out, take a deep breath and pray about it. Breathe again, throw them away, and let it go. Release all the worries at Jesus's feet!

This goes for everything! If you are upset, mad, hurt; whatever the emotion is, lay it down before you go to sleep.

Don't go to bed with emotions flying! Make peace with it and let it go!

Not easy at all, but when you build a relationship with God, He will listen, He hears you, and He will never forsake you!!

Now, everyone needs someone to talk to. Find that one person you can trust to talk to, because sometimes we need someone to listen... to hear us... to understand... a special someone to lean on. But with that being said, do not gossip or post about it; do not let it go any further than you and your trusted someone(preferably a Christian Counselor) and the 1# one to go too is God! Everything in prayer
and supplication!

I hope this helps! I am sure those boxes will get full sometimes; maybe even run over. But there is nothing... absolutely nothing that you and God can't handle! God Bless!!
